Job summary

Qualifications

Direct patient interaction is provided to patients of all ages.Essential Functions:Schedule follow up/return visits to our office for patients.Obtain appropriate pre-certification and pre-authorizations, as needed.Schedule medical tests and procedures for patients. (i.e. - interventional invasive cardiology procedures, electrophysiology, etc.)Discuss patient instructions for procedures with patient so patient has clear understanding of what is expected.Calls patients to schedule procedures and give instructions over phone with follow-up letter with instructions.Use Allscripts, Centricity Business, online paging systems.
