Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly proficient Medical Scheduler on a contract-to-hire basis for our healthcare client in Muncie, IN. The role schedules surgical, diagnostic, primary and specialty procedures and internal referrals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high-quality documentation and customer service standards while meeting deadlines and coordinating with clinical teams.

Qualifications

• 1 year of consecutive and recent call center experience (within last 5 years).
• Excellent customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical procedures, diagnostic procedures, primary care, specialty care, and internal referrals.
• Follow and reinforce all policies for case scheduling.
• Communicate information for each scheduled appointment.
• Audit and/or complete electronic documentation of patient and case information in a timely manner.

What You Will Do

• Accountable for scheduling surgical procedures, diagnostic procedures, primary care, specialty care, and internal referrals.
• Follows and reinforces all policies for case scheduling.
• Communicates information for each scheduled appointment.
• Accountable for auditing and/or completing electronic documentation of patient and case information in a timely manner.
• Works under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of quality.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of consecutive and recent (within the last 5 years) experience in a call center environment required.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service at all times required!

Shift Hours (MultipleOptions Available)

• 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM M-F (40 hrs/wk)
• 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM M-F (40 hrs/wk)
• 11:30 to 7:00 PM Mon-Wed & 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thurs-Fri (32 hrs/wk)

Pay Details

$16.00 per hour
