Job summary

Catholic Health in New York seeks a proactive Scheduler to coordinate patient scheduling for SFH operating rooms via telephone, fax and computer, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. This role supports a mission‑driven team dedicated to compassionate patient care.

Required HS diploma, 3 years hospital/physician office scheduling experience, and strong problem solving skills with medical terminology knowledge to navigate OR workflows and pre‑certifications.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3 years of Hospital/Physician office scheduling experience.
• Must have excellent problem solving skills, proficient in medical terminology and of OR operations.

Responsibilities

• Obtains accurate information regarding the scheduling of patients for SFH operating rooms through telephone, fax and computer with Physician offices.
• Ensures all Managed Care requirements are met at the time of scheduling and pre-certifications are obtained prior to admissions/procedures.
• Obtains, completes, and follows- up on all pertinent information required to schedule patients.

Salary Range

USD $24.15 - USD $35.60 /Hr.
