Job summary

Koch Foods, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Safety Technician for the 3rd shift to provide on-site first aid, handle work-related injuries, and maintain confidential medical records.

You will perform daily safety inspections, assist with drug testing and hearing tests, and lead monthly safety meetings while upholding strict confidentiality and compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. • EMT license is required.
• CPR and Basic First Aid certification required.
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 certifications preferred.
• Safety experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Frequent utilization of office equipment and/or computers.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout shift.
• Exposure to heat (99°F, 37°C) and cold (45°F, 4°C).
• Expose to wet and cold environment.
• Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
