Job summary

Koch Foods, Inc. is seeking a Safety & First Aid Specialist for the 3rd shift to provide immediate medical support and maintain safety compliance within a production environment.

The role requires an EMT license, CPR/First Aid certification, and preferred OSHA certifications, with demonstrated safety experience in manufacturing. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.

Conduct drug testing for post-offer employment testing, schedule hearing tests, and provide random screening as needed. Conduct monthly safety meetings. All other relevant duties to the job.

Requirements

• EMT LICENSE REQUIRED
• CPR and Basic First Aid Certified required.
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 certifications preferred.
• Safety experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent utilization of office equipment and/or computers.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout shift.
• Exposure to heat (99°F, 37°C) and cold (45°F, 4°C).
• Expose to wet and cold environment.
• Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
