Job summary

Koch Foods, Inc. is seeking a Safety Specialist on the 3rd shift in Georgia to provide first aid, treat injuries, and maintain confidential medical records.

You will perform daily safety inspections, conduct post-offer drug testing and hearing tests, and lead monthly safety meetings to keep the site compliant and safe. The role requires EMT license, CPR/First Aid, OSHA certifications, and strong organizational and communication skills to support cross-functional teams in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• EMT LICENSE REQUIRED.
• CPR and Basic First Aid Certified required.
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 certifications preferred.
• Safety experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Frequent utilization of office equipment and/or computers.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout shift.
• Exposure to heat (99°F, 37°C) and cold (45°F, 4°C).
• Expose to wet and cold environment.
• Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
