Job summary

Koch Foods, Inc. seeks a dedicated on-site Safety Medical Officer to provide first aid, manage medical records, and conduct routine safety inspections on the 3rd shift. The role includes drug testing for post-offer screenings, hearing tests scheduling, and supporting monthly safety meetings.

Candidate must hold EMT license, CPR/First Aid certification, and prefer OSHA 30/10. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for this manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• EMT LICENSE REQUIRED.
• CPR and Basic First Aid Certified required.
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 certifications preferred.
• Safety experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and treat all work-related injuries.
• Perform daily inspections ensuring safety compliance.
• Maintain medical records with utmost confidentiality.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent utilization of office equipment and/or computers.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout shift.
• Exposure to heat (99°F, 37°C) and cold (45°F, 4°C).
• Expose to wet and cold environment.
• Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
