Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Sioux Falls, SD. The role involves daily driving to transport lab specimens, medical records and supplies, using a hand-held scanner to track items, and ensuring on-time, safe deliveries.

You must be 19+ with a valid driver’s license for 3+ years, be able to lift 50 pounds, and pass drug/alcohol screening. A company vehicle is provided and training is offered, with opportunities for growth in a nationwide healthcare

Qualifications

Must be 19+ years old with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
Clean driving record and safe driving history.

Responsibilities

Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials in a company vehicle.
Operate a handheld scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
Adhere to operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
Present a professional image to clients and the public.
Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment.
Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean.
Roles may vary by client and route; perform duties across all assigned routes.
Collaborate with teammates and clients to ensure teamwork and adaptability.
