Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Medical Driver in Sioux Falls to operate a company vehicle, transport specimens and materials, and perform routine safety checks. The role offers a structured schedule with evening shifts on Monday through Thursday.

Candidates must meet age and licensing requirements, pass screenings, and maintain a reliable driving history. MedSpeed emphasizes teamwork, safety, and growth within a nationwide healthcare logistics network.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19+ with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Able to pass drug & alcohol screen and have a clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Drive in company-owned vehicle and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-ray images and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Observe policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Be adaptable to route changes and work across routes as needed.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to build a strong MedSpeed team culture.
