MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative for Pierre, SD. This full-time role involves driving a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays and supplies, with shifts Thursday-Sunday.

Training is provided and weekend differential applies. The ideal candidate has strong customer service, dependable reliability, a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds while maintaining safety and professionalism on

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen
• Drive a non-commercial vehicle through varying roads and weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Most of your day will be spent in a company-owned vehicle, transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies and related materials
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules
• Present a professional image to clients and the public
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat vehicle
• Route duties vary based on client and business needs and you must perform all duties across routes
