Job summary

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, seeks an Emergency Response Officer (EMR/EMT) to support security and medical response within our gated retirement community.

You will respond to medical emergencies, patrol the property, enforce regulations, and assist during incidents, with shifts Day 6am-6pm and Night 6pm-6am.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Prior experience in Emergency Medical Services or Security is preferred.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service to all parties in the community.
• Culture of positivity, proactive, vigilant and detail-oriented approaches with a strong commitment to quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Current Emergency Medical Responder certification or the ability to acquire the certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Respond to medical emergencies and provide efficient care utilizing all basic interventions.
• Respond to calls for service from dispatch and security.
• Perform regular patrols of the property, provide relief staffing for the gatehouse, and respond to emergency and routine calls for service.
• Enforce all traffic and parking regulations.
• Follow up on reports of missing items, theft, vandalism, and other potential criminal activity.
• Ability to determine when to utilize support from local police, fire, and EMS; effectively during emergencies.
• Complete thorough and detailed incident reports using our online report system.

Job Description

Join our team as a Emergency Response Officer (EMR/EMT) at our gated retirement community. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing our Security and Emergency Services programs and providing outreach within the community.

Compensation: $20.00- 23.00 / hour, based on experience.

Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly

Available Shifts: Day Shift: 6am - 6pm, Night Shift: 6pm - 6am

(Higher level certification/licensure is acceptable as a condition of hire, however, new hires will be required to obtain EMR certification through Erickson Senior Living EMR Academy).
