Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living seeks an experienced Emergency Dispatcher to manage Security & EMS systems from a central location. You will dispatch emergencies and routine calls, while delivering personalized service to residents and visitors. Join a team prioritizing safety, hospitality and community well-being.

The role requires calm, clear communication and the ability to handle high-pressure situations across day and night shifts at our Highlands Ranch, CO campus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in 911 call-taking/dispatching or Emergency Medical Services preferred.
• Ability to maintain composure and situational awareness during emergencies and new challenges.
• Effective communication with residents, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Track all pertinent information during shifts and initiate incident reports.
• Monitor the Emergency Call System for independent living residents.
• Track status of residents involved in emergencies.
• Monitor Fire Alarm System and related safety systems.
• Dispatch ambulance, private ambulances, or 911 as needed.

Job Description

Our Security and Emergency Services department is currently seeking an experienced Emergency Dispatcher to manage multiple Security & EMS systems from a central location. You will dispatch both emergency and routine calls for service, while also building a rapport with residents and visitors by providing personalized customer service and hospitality. Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00, based on experience

Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly

SCHEDULE:

Day shift: WEEK 1: MONDAY, TUESDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY – 6 AM - 6 PM

WEEK 2: SUNDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY 6 AM – 6 PM

Night shift: WEEK 1: MONDAY, TUESDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY – 6 PM - 6 AM

WEEK 2: SUNDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY 6 PM – 6 AM

How you will make an impact

• Track all pertinent information during your shift, and initiate the first level of the incident report for Security and Emergency Services Officer completion
• Monitor the Emergency Call System for independent living
• Track the status of residents involved in emergency situations
• Monitor Fire Alarm System
• Dispatch ambulance, private ambulances, or 911 as needed

• Effective communication skills with residents, visitors, and staff at all levels
