Job summary

International Community Health Services (ICHS) seeks a Medical Referral Specialist - PACE to support coordination of patient referrals, insurance screening, and referrals processing. You will work in a team-based setting with care teams, greet patients, and act as a liaison among participants, caregivers, providers, and insurance representatives to ensure seamless care.

Minimum education is high school diploma; one year scheduling in healthcare and EHR experience preferred; English fluency

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year scheduling experience in health care preferred.
• Experience using EHR systems preferred.
• Fluent in English; other languages valued; knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient referrals and assist with insurance screening.
• Serve as liaison between participants, caregivers, providers and insurers to ensure coordinated care.

This role serves as a liaison between participants, caregivers, providers, specialists, and insurance representatives to facilitate seamless care coordination.

Education

• High school graduate or equivalent required.

Experience

• One (1) year scheduling experience in a health care setting preferred. Experience with using electronic health record (EHR) preferred .

Other Requirement(s)

• Fluent in English: additional fluency in other languages is valued. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
