Job summary

Advantmed is hiring enthusiastic Medical Records Technicians to travel to medical facilities and hospitals, scanning patient records with company laptops and portable scanners. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish, hold a valid driver's license with active insurance, own a car, and be able to drive 60–80 miles per trip.

Hours are 08:00 to 17:00 in your time zone, with semi-monthly pay, $11 per hour or $1.75 per record, mileage reimbursements, and travel perks; this seasonal role ends January

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation.
• Experience with healthcare records or medical charts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a record system for patient information and gathering documents.
• Use electronic systems to collect, organize, and manage data.
• Ensure medical records are organized, accurate, and complete.
• Create digital copies of paperwork and store records electronically.
• File paperwork/reports quickly and accurately.
• Ensure HIPAA standards are met.
• Follow confidentiality guidelines and procedures.
• Interact with medical staff and other healthcare personnel.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
