Job summary

Advantmed is hiring enthusiastic Medical Records Technicians. This entry-level role offers hands-on exposure to healthcare data, HIPAA compliance, and opportunities to work across multiple medical facilities. You will travel with company equipment to scan and organize patient records.

Requirements include bilingual English/Spanish, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to visit facilities during standard hours. Training and travel allowances are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required for bilingual visitor interactions.
• Experience or ability to work with electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems.
• Comfort with data entry, file management, and confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a record system for patient information and documents.
• Use electronic systems to collect, organize, and manage data.
• Ensure records are accurate, complete, and HIPAA compliant.
• Create digital copies and store records electronically.
• File paperwork and reports quickly and accurately.
• Interact with medical staff and healthcare professionals.
• Handle lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Visit facilities within travel radius as required.
