Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 0 years of experience in medical records or a related field.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently maintain and update patient medical records using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Verify and correct patient demographics, insurance information, and medical history.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve medical record-related issues and improve patient care.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
