Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Five years of Medical Records experience in acute care or behavioral health preferred.
• Five years of ICD-9-CM coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process discharge medical records ensuring completeness and proper indexing.
• Enter patient data into agency systems and generate daily/monthly reports.
• Handle medical record requests, subpoenas, and court orders per HIPAA guidelines.
