Clarion Psychiatric Center, a UHS subsidiary, is seeking a Medical Records Clerk to manage and secure patient health records in a hospital setting. You will organize, code using ICD-10-CM and DSM-V, and ensure HIPAA compliance while supporting providers and staff.

Requirements include a High School diploma, 3+ years in Health Information Management, and completion of a Medical Coding course with CPC certification preferred; experience with DSM-V and MS Office is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required with HIM experience preferred.
• Formal medical coding training and CPC certification preferred.
• Knowledge of DSM-V and ICD-10-CM coding required.
• Strong computer skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Chart assembly and analysis and abstracting on charts.
• Code diagnoses using ICD-10-CM and DSM-V.
• Maintain organized Medical Records Department and respond to inquiries.
• Support performance improvement studies and record reviews.
