Fiesta Park Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a Medical Records Clerk to maintain patient records from admission to discharge, ensuring compliance with state/federal regulations and facility policies.

Under supervision, you will assemble, protect, retrieve and track records, monitor physician documentation, and perform QA checks to ensure completeness and accuracy. On-site role with routine office tasks and record handling.

Competenze

• High school diploma required; associates degree in medical record technology preferred.
• Completion of classes in medical terminology and HIPAA knowledge.
• One to two years of medical records experience; typing and office experience preferred.

• Assembles, protects and collects records
• Monitors physician visits and documentation
• Thins paper record
• Tracks incomplete records
• Produces record on request according to corporate guidelines
• Manages orders
• Performs Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) checks for completeness and accuracy
• Performs any miscellaneous work assignments as may be required.
