Job summary

We are currently seeking a capable Operations Coordinator to manage medical records, CMS documentation, and EMR-related workflows, collaborating with office and field staff. If you join, you’ll work Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, with competitive benefits, and a supportive environment that values

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a Home Health or Hospice setting.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience using HCHB to perform operations relating to the Home Health and Hospice Business model.
• Understanding HIPAAs compliance rules and regulations.
• Understanding of CMS guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to explain complex and/or confidential information and communicate with all levels of management.
• Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Process medical records email, fax line and phone calls.
• Process Additional Documentation Request (ADR) received from CMS and Private Insurances.
• Analyze and troubleshoot all issues with internal EMR systems pertaining to clinical processing of visits, documents, data, billing and other issues as needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with office and field staff.
• Conduct business in a manner that displays a high level of confidentiality, and integrity at all times.

Pay range (depending on experience): $22-$25/hr
