Responsibilities include chart assembly, coding with ICD-10-CM and DSM-V, and abstracting records for providers and staff.

The role requires a High School diploma, HIM experience, completion of a Medical Coding course (CPC preferred), and the ability to work in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Medical Records/HIM experience required.
• Completion of a Medical Coding course; CPC certification upon completion.
• Three years of Health Information Management experience.
• Proficient in DSM-V and ICD-10-CM coding; ability to abstract charts.
• Hospitals setting experience; HIPAA confidentiality knowledge.

Responsibilities
