West Bloomfield Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Medical Records/Central Supply Coordinator to maintain clinical records, ensure organized documentation, and monitor inventory and ordering of supplies.

The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with regulations, and teamwork in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. Knowledge of computerized records and MRT/ART credentials are preferred; the team values clear communication and reliable processes.

Formación

• Background in use of computerized systems preferred.
• Medical Records experience or MRT/ART/ MR Administrator credentials preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Establishes and implements policies to ensure that records are complete, accurately documented, readily accessible and systematically organized.
• Consults with staff to help define and analyze information needed from the clinical record.
• Conducts audits of the clinical record as scheduled.
• Completes sections of the Minimum Data Set as required.
• Processes transfer or discharge records and maintains appropriate clinical records on former residents; conducts destruction according to regulation and policy.
• Maintains inventory of supplies.
• Contacts suppliers and orders facility supplies as needed.
