Job summary

The Brentwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Medical Records/Central Supply Coordinator for a full-time role. You will manage resident health information, maintain records in paper and electronic formats, and support central supply operations to ensure uninterrupted resident care.

Candidates with at least one year of healthcare experience, a high school diploma, and familiarity with EMR systems are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of related healthcare experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• Ability to lift and move supplies and manage inventory.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational and data entry skills.
• Excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff.
• Willingness to learn EMR processes and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage resident health information to ensure records are accurate, complete, current, and HIPAA compliant.
• Create and maintain medical records for new admissions.
• Maintain organized paper and electronic records.
• Conduct audits of medical records at admission, during stay, and discharge.
• Upload and maintain documentation in the EMR system.
• Process medical record requests per facility policies and confidentiality requirements.
• Maintain closed medical records per retention guidelines.
• Respond to inquiries regarding medical records.
• Assist with central supply operations and inventory management.
• Monitor supply usage and maintain appropriate par levels.
• Support ordering, stocking, and organization of central supply areas.
• Perform other duties to support records integrity and supply chain efficiency.
