Medical Records is responsible for assembling and maintaining patient’s health information in medical records and charts. Ensure all paper and electronic records are complete, properly identified and signed. Copies, retrieves and tracks medical records request. Assembles charts for peer reviews and conducts chart audits on a daily basis. Responsible for tracking dictations to assure all cases are dictated and follow-up should be made with physicians regarding missing dictation of cases.
