Job summary

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient, outpatient, and ED records for required charting elements per Medical Staff Bylaws, Hospital Polices, TJC, CMS and DOH regulations.
• Assign deficiencies to physicians, residents and allied health care professionals to complete the chart.
• Retrieve, scan, and transport hospital patient information and index records into the patient’s electronic record.
• Maintain the Death Log and perform front desk duties as required; represent the hospital professionally with excellent customer service.
