Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Medical Records Clerk to manage clerical functions from admission to discharge, including release of information, birth registry, scanning, and deficiency tracking to ensure complete medical records.

The role supports compliance with state, hospital, and Joint Commission standards; accuracy and attention to detail are essential in daily record-keeping and documentation processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• 3 years experience related to medical records Preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all Clerical functions from time of admit to discharge on all episodes of care up to and including the completion of all medical records in accordance with Medical Records Policies and Procedures.
• Includes release of information, birth registry, processing of expired patients paperwork, point of care scanning, and deficiency assignment and completion of medical records according to all state, hospital, and Joint Commission Standards.
