Responsibilities
Serve as the Medical Record Practitioner for the satellite clinic, ensuring proper maintenance of patient medical records.
Answer the phone, forward calls, or take messages.
Greet patients and visitors, directing them appropriately.
Create memos and reports as requested.
Maintain billing information for patients and verify insurance.
Key daily flow sheets and check entries for accuracy.
Assist with collection of delinquent accounts as requested.
Complete logs of incoming checks and cash.
Verify patient status daily.
Prepare new patient packets.
Assist nursing and management staff with clerical work.

Education
High school diploma or GED
3-6 months related experience and/or training
