TEEMA is seeking a Medical Program Assistant Associate (MPAA) in Sturtevant, Wisconsin to provide essential administrative support in a fast-paced healthcare setting. You will manage patient and legal requests for medical record reviews, retrieve and redact records, and support clinicians with scheduling and documentation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare education preferred.
  • Experience in a medical office, healthcare administration, health information management, or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with EMR/EHR systems and HIPAA knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage patient and legal requests for medical record reviews and releases.
  • Retrieve, review, redact, and prepare healthcare records in accordance with privacy regulations and policies.
  • Coordinate and facilitate medical record reviews and document releases.
  • Scan and upload approximately 400 medical records per week into the EMR system.
  • Provide administrative support to about 12 clinicians, including scheduling, documentation, and correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate electronic records and file documentation appropriately.
  • Prioritize and manage a high-volume workload while meeting deadlines.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, attorneys, providers, and internal departments.
  • Perform general administrative duties to support clinic operations.
