Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Medical Receptionist to manage front desk operations in Abingdon, VA. The role involves patient check-in, processing payments, and guiding new patients through the intake process within outpatient MAT-focused clinics.

The position emphasizes delivering a professional, friendly experience, supporting clinical staff, and maintaining accurate financial records. Relevant healthcare or addiction medicine exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, addiction medicine, office administration preferred.
• Lived Addiction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients, receive payments, and assist in daily operations.
• Maintain a friendly, professional attitude and provide a 'white glove' experience for patients.
• Guide new patients through their intake process.
• Collect urine and saliva samples for patient drug screens as needed.
• Maintains daily financial records and reports.
• Coordinate with medical and clinical staff to coordinate intakes.
• Provide clerical and logistical support and oversee patient accounts.
