The Medical Receptionist is responsible for greeting patients and creating a friendly and positive check-in and check-out experience for each visit. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to changes in staffing levels and patient volumes. Responsibilities include maintaining patient flow, answering phones promptly and courteously, scheduling, registering, billing, and payment collection activities in accordance with policies and procedures. The receptionist must understand diversified insurance plans and medical terminology.
