The Medical Receptionist is responsible for greeting patients and establishing a friendly, positive check-in and check-out experience for each visit. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to changes in staffing levels and patient volumes. The Medical Receptionist manages patient flow, answers phones promptly and courteously, and handles scheduling, registration, billing, and payment collection activities in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures. They will also learn and understand various insurance plans and medical terminology.
Education & Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
Maturity to handle pressure related to interactions with the public and physicians.
