Summary:

The Medical Receptionist is responsible for greeting patients and creating a friendly, positive check-in and check-out experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to staffing and patient volume changes. Responsibilities include maintaining patient flow, answering phones courteously, scheduling, registering, billing, and collecting payments, all while adhering to policies and procedures. The role also involves understanding various insurance plans and medical terminology.

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Maturity to handle pressure from the public and physicians.
