Summary

The Medical Receptionist is responsible for greeting patients and establishing a friendly and positive intake and check-out process for each visit. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to staffing changes and varying patient volumes. Responsibilities include maintaining patient flow, answering phones courteously, scheduling, registering, billing, and collecting payments, all while following policies and procedures. The role also involves understanding diverse insurance plans and medical terminology.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience.

• Maturity to handle pressure from the public and physicians.
