Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of medical office experience.
• At least 1 year using an EMR; ModMed experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance basics.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones promptly and courteously; screen calls, route as needed, and note in the patient EMR.
• Index patient documents to the correct chart.
• Route electronic faxes and upload to the correct patient chart.
• Assist with other duties as needed during down time.
• All other duties as assigned.
