Firelands Health in Sandusky, Ohio is seeking an administrative assistant to greet patients and vendors, answer calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and assist with billing processes in a busy ambulatory setting.

This on-site, full-time role includes a $1,500 retention bonus, tuition reimbursement, loan forgiveness, major medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401(k), wellness programs and monthly employee events.

Competenze

• High school diploma required; vocational education preferred.
• Experience in a medical ambulatory setting.
• Current CPR certification or obtained within 3 months of employment and maintained.
• Proficient with computers; MS Outlook, Excel, and Word desired.
• Eligibility to work in the United States; annual tuberculin testing and health requirements.
• Must have a valid Ohio driver's license and auto insurance; proof upon request.
• Successful completion of a 90-day introductory period.

Mansioni

• Greet patients, vendors, and visitors and notify appropriate staff.
• Answer phones, screen calls, and route to the proper staff.
• Schedule patient appointments and verify insurance coverage.
• Obtain pre-certifications or prior authorizations as needed.
• Assist with billing processes and daily financial records.
