Position: Medical Front Desk Receptionist

The Medical Front Desk Receptionist is a customer service professional who serves as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive experience through proper check-in, registration, and insurance communication.

Requirements

• 1+ years of customer service experience, preferred
• 1+ years of medical administrative duties, preferred
• Computer literacy, required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, strongly preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• $20 - $24 per hour, depending on experience
• Monthly performance bonuses

Schedule

Full-time, approximately 36-40 hours/week, with a set schedule (Wednesday-Saturday). Includes one on-call shift per month. Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge patients warmly
• Manage patient check-in and registration in EMR
• Verify insurance electronically, review coverage, and collect payments
• Check out patients, organize and scan medical records, provide copies
• Answer calls and emails, direct to appropriate departments
• Manage cash drawer setup and close-out
• Maintain a clean, disinfected environment
• Other duties as assigned
