Altus Biologics is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist in San Antonio, TX to manage patient check-ins, records, and scheduling. You’ll work at the Westover Hills clinic area, supporting physicians and patients with professional, courteous service.

The role emphasizes daytime hours with potential for growth, and requires hospital/clinic experience and strong communication skills to coordinate care and payments. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare setting.
• Preference for prior Medical Receptionist experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients professionally in person and by phone.
• Obtain patient records per treatment protocol (EMR or external sources).
• Collect co-pays or outstanding balances at check-in when applicable.
• Prep charts for scheduled infusions.
• Communicate with physicians, staff, patients and colleagues via phone, EMR, chat or email.
• Manage unscheduled patient reports and attend weekly collaboration meetings.
• Assist with scheduling appointments for patients.
• Assist with ordering medical supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
