Allied Physicians Island Kids Pediatrics in Staten Island is seeking a Medical Receptionist to deliver a welcoming patient experience at the front desk. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, collect copays, and coordinate communication between patients and medical staff.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Medical Receptionist experience required.
• Experience with AthenaOne and/or Phreesia strongly preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients while providing excellent customer service.
• Schedule appointments and assist with patient registration.
• Answer phones, process messages, and assist with general office communication.
• Verify insurance, collect copays, and maintain accurate patient information.
• Support referrals, forms, scanning, and front desk administrative tasks.
• Assist patients and families with questions regarding office processes and appointments.
• Travel between offices based on operational needs.
