Job summary

Allied Physicians Group’s pediatric practice in Medford, NY is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to bring compassion, organization, and energy to a fast-paced environment. You will greet patients, obtain vitals, update histories, prepare for visits, and support providers during exams.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of MA or receptionist experience, with preferred familiarity with AthenaOne and Phreesia.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Medical Assistant and/or Medical Receptionist experience.
• Experience with AthenaOne and/or Phreesia strongly preferred.
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients and provide excellent customer service.
• Obtain vitals, update medical histories, and assist with patient intake.
• Prepare patients for visits and support providers during appointments.
• Perform basic clinical duties including specimen collection and point-of-care testing as applicable.
• Schedule appointments and assist with patient registration; answer phones and messages.
