Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience in administrative or customer service roles, preferably in medical.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is required for effective patient communication.

Schedule and Locations:

  • Monday and Wednesday - CVR Fairfax Clinic
  • Tuesday and Thursday - CVR Alexandria Clinic
  • 7 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Four 10-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner and check in/out
  • Distribute, ensure understanding of, and implement all CVR policies and procedures among staff
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, including maintaining up-to-date patient charts, HIPAA compliance, and proper input of demographics, procedures, and payments into NextGen
  • Review scheduling, financial responsibilities, and referrals with patients throughout care
  • Send precertification forms daily to the Precertification Department for authorization prior to services
  • Complete daily close tasks, including fee tickets, billing, and operative notes
  • Review future schedules for patient preauthorization
  • Obtain and update all new patient forms in NextGen/EHR, ensuring records are current
  • Collect necessary paperwork such as authorizations and referrals
  • Collect copays and patient balances at the time of service
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, and collect email addresses
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bilingual required (Spanish speaking)
  • Minimum 1 year administrative or customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting
  • Reliable transportation to clinics that may not be accessible by public transportation
  • Must be able to travel to CVR Fairfax and Alexandria Clinics
