Schedule and Locations:

  • Monday and Wednesday - CVR Fairfax Clinic
  • Tuesday and Thursday - CVR Alexandria Clinic
  • 7 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Four 10-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner and check in/out
  • Ensure all CVR policies and procedures are distributed, understood, and implemented by staff
  • Maintain compliance with all policies, ensure patient charts are up to date, HIPAA compliant, and properly input demographics, procedures, and payments into NextGen
  • Review scheduling, financial responsibilities, and referrals with patients throughout care
  • Send precertification forms daily to the Precertification Department for patients requiring authorization
  • Complete daily close tasks including fee tickets, billing, and operative notes
  • Review future schedules for preauthorization of treatments
  • Obtain and update all new patient forms in NextGen/EHR, ensuring records are current
  • Collect necessary paperwork such as authorizations and referrals
  • Collect copays and patient balances at the time of service
  • Schedule and confirm appointments; collect email addresses from patients
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking) - Required
  • Minimum 1 year administrative or customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting
  • Reliable transportation to clinics that may not be accessible by public transportation
  • Must be able to travel to CVR Fairfax and Alexandria Clinics
