Join to apply for the Medical Receptionist (Annapolis) role at Chesapeake Health Care.

Annapolis ENT, a division of Chesapeake Specialty Practice, is looking for a friendly and caring Medical Receptionist to join our busy ENT office.

Responsibilities
  1. Create positive interactions and provide quality patient experiences.
  2. Answer phone calls and schedule appointments.
  3. Handle insurance verifications.
  4. Obtain all necessary information from patients for their visits.
  5. Accept payments.
  6. Maintain patient electronic medical records.
  7. Perform other administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
  1. High School diploma required; higher education preferred.
  2. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective relationships with patients, colleagues, and vendors.
  3. 1 year of medical office experience preferred.
  4. Experience with patient registration, insurance eligibility, referrals, billing, coding, prior authorizations, and familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
  5. Ability to manage a busy office with interruptions, calls, and walk-ins while maintaining a positive attitude.
  6. Bilingual skills are a plus.
