Job summary

Schedule and Locations:

  • Monday - CVR Easton Clinic, 7 AM - 5 PM
  • Tuesday and Thursday - CVR Annapolis Clinic, 6 AM - 4 PM
  • Four 10-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner and check in/out
  • Ensure all CVR policies and procedures are distributed, understood, and implemented by staff
  • Maintain compliance with all policies, including up-to-date patient charts, HIPAA compliance, and proper input of demographics, procedures, and payments into NextGen
  • Review scheduling, financial responsibilities, and referrals with patients throughout care
  • Send precertification forms daily to the Precertification Department for authorization
  • Complete daily close tasks, including fee tickets, billing, and operative notes
  • Review future schedules for preauthorization of treatments
  • Obtain and update all new patient forms in NextGen/EHR, ensuring records are current
  • Collect necessary paperwork such as authorizations and referrals
  • Collect copays and patient balances at the time of service
  • Schedule and confirm appointments; collect email addresses from patients
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of administrative or customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting
  • Reliable transportation to clinics that may not be accessible by public transit
  • Ability to travel to CVR Easton and Annapolis Clinics
