Midwest Pain Clinics (MPC) is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our outpatient pain management team in Omaha, NE. This front desk role emphasizes patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, and dependable administrative support.

The position is full-time, Mon-Thu 8:00 AM–5:30 PM and Fri 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, with a pay rate of $20/hour. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in medical clinics, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a medical clinic and/or patient scheduling experience.
• Medical billing experience.
• Strong communication, organization and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-in, check-out, and registration.
• Schedule appointments and respond to incoming calls.
• Collect co-pays, deposits, and required documentation.
• Obtain and organize insurance information and new-patient paperwork.
• Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation.
• Assist with patient flow and prepare exam rooms as needed.
• Document patient histories, vital signs, and test results as directed.
• Handle medical records and patient information per HIPAA requirements.
• Keep front office and clinical areas organized and professional.
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, facility, and company procedures.
• Complete required training and assist with additional office needs as assigned.
