Job summary

Midwest Pain Clinics in Omaha, NE is seeking a Director of Nursing to oversee daily clinical operations, staffing, compliance, and patient safety. You will lead nursing and clinical staff, ensure CMS and Joint Commission standards, and drive quality improvement in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

This full-time role offers a Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM-5:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of clinical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Responsibilities

  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and daily clinical operations
  • Supervise and develop nursing and clinical staff while promoting teamwork
  • Manage employee orientation, training, competencies, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, company, and regulatory requirements
  • Investigate complaints, perform root-cause analyses, and support QAPI initiatives
  • Oversee infection prevention, radiation safety, and other patient safety programs
  • Coordinate audits, reports, safety meetings, drills, and compliance monitoring
  • Identify opportunities for staff education and professional development
  • Maintain required documentation, certifications, and training programs
  • Support physician and employee satisfaction initiatives
  • Promote a culture focused on patient safety, quality, and exceptional patient experiences

Position Summary
