Job summary

TrueCare in Escondido, CA is seeking a Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming first point of contact for patients and to help ensure smooth clinic operations.

You will manage front desk duties, answer calls, schedule appointments, register patients, collect payments, and support clinical staff by keeping accurate records and a tidy reception area. This role requires a friendly, professional demeanor and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience as a Medical Receptionist or in an administrative/clerical role.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for patients, guiding them through their visit with professionalism and compassion.
• Manage front desk operations, answer calls, schedule appointments, register patients, and collect payments.
• Support clinical staff by maintaining accurate records and ensuring a clean, organized reception area.

Your Role & Impact

As a Medical Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients, helping them navigate their visit with professionalism and compassion. You’ll manage front desk operations, answer calls, schedule appointments, register patients, and collect payments. You’ll also support clinical staff by maintaining accurate records and ensuring a clean, organized reception area.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of experience as a Medical Receptionist or in an administrative/clerical role
• Basic computer proficiency
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Experience working with Electronic Health Records (preferred)
• Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)
• This position is Monday, Wednesday Friday 8 am to 5 pm and Tuesday, Thursday 10 am to 7 pm.

The pay range for this role is $23.00 - $32.20 on an hourly basis. (depending on experience)
