Job summary

Trinity Health in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for a day shift at our Pulmonary Medicine Practice. This role supports patient care through nursing assessment, timely interventions, and adherence to clinical protocols.

The position offers 1st shift 8 am–5 pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekends or holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package. Requires Michigan RN license and ADN (BSN preferred); new grads may apply to RN residency.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Licensed in Michigan; ADN must enroll in BSN within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years.
• 1 year of RN experience required; RN residency available for new grads (Feb/Jul/Oct).
• Specialty credentialing may be preferred by clinical area.

Responsibilities

• Telephone triage and patient education.
• Medication refills and new consult evaluations.
• Clerical duties and environmental support to the team.

Position Summary

A variety of shared responsibilities in a busy practice. Utilizes nursing assessment skills and clinical protocol guidelines in a decision-making capacity to provide timely and efficient patient care.

What you will do

• Telephone triage
• Medication Refill
• New consult evaluation
• Patient education
• Performs clerical functions, all functions of a Medical Assistant, and environmental duties to support team objectives

What you will need

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program
• Associate degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
• In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire
• Licensed in the State of Michigan
• 1 years of experience as an RN required if new grad must apply to RN residency that takes place three times a year in February, July and October
• Specialty credentialing preferred according to clinical nursing practice specialty area preferred
