Trinity Health is seeking a Nurse Triage professional to join the Pulmonology clinic in Grand Rapids. The role involves phone triage, patient education, assisting with prior authorizations, and medication refills as part of a busy practice.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program.
• Associate degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
• In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire.
• Licensed in the State of Michigan.
• 1 year of experience as an RN required; RN residency may be needed for new grads (Feb/Jul/Oct).
• Specialty credentialing preferred according to clinical nursing practice specialty area.

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Nurse Triage position working as a part of a team to care for patients in the Pulmonology clinic in Grand Rapids. Nurses are responsible for phone triage, patient education, assistance with prior authorizations, and medication refills.

• 1 years of experience as an RN required if new grad must apply to RN residency that takes place three times a year in February, July and October
• Specialty credentialing preferred according to clinical nursing practice specialty area preferred
