Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd is seeking a Site Manager for the Pediatrics: General department at 01450 HC Adairsville MOB. This full-time role (40 hours/week) runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with pay range $28.55–$42.85 per hour.

The position focuses on managing business operations, staff hiring, training, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Qualified candidates have at least five years in a medical office, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred in business or a clinical field, and knowledge

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or clinical field preferred OR minimum five years of prior experience in a medical office
• Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in a medical office or front office responsibilities
• Experience in medical office information systems, electronic billing, and other automated functions
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9/CPT coding, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, and worker’s compensation needed.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, and supervises employees.
• Ensures practice compliance with JCAHO, FLSA, CLIA, OSHA, ADA, EEO, and licensure requirements.
• Completes check-in and checkout procedures using the medical office information system.
• Answers incoming calls and routes to appropriate source within the practice.
• Performs basic clerical duties such as filing and typing.
• Receives mail and routes to appropriate source.
• Maintains accurate medical records.
• Calls in prescriptions with physicians' approval.
• Provides back up for all practice-based business office functions.
• Communicates clearly with team members, physicians, and patients.
• Maintains cost consciousness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
