Job summary

Tenet Physician Resources in Texas seeks an experienced Physician Practice Manager to direct administrative and operational functions for assigned practices. You will ensure smooth operations, oversee inventory, personnel management, patient relations and patient flow.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and at least 3 years of progressive managerial experience in a medical setting, with strong focus on budgeting and HR processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years of progressive and hands-on managerial experience in a medical practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the development and implementation of goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement new office procedures to improve office flow and operations.
• Manages daily operations including staff scheduling, cash reconciliation, charge entry, and operational checks and balances.
• Manages Human Resources by interviewing, hiring, orienting and evaluating ensuring optimal staffing at all times.
• Reviews the operational budget and expenditures and works to keep the practice within budget parameters.
